The Vision
When the homeowners reached out to Coast Design & Build, they had one big goal: to breathe new life into the space where they raised their children—without losing its soul. They loved the bones of their home but wanted an updated design that reflected their evolving lifestyle. Our challenge? To deliver a space that was fresh, functional, and still familiar.
The Work
We began with a full redesign of the kitchen, knocking down a non-load-bearing wall to create an open-concept layout that flowed into the dining and living areas. Custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a waterfall island became the new centerpiece of the home.
In the bathrooms, we installed modern tilework, floating vanities, and frameless glass showers—blending spa-like tranquility with everyday usability. Throughout the house, we updated flooring, lighting, and wall textures for a cohesive, elevated look.
Our favorite touch? A custom-built reading nook under the staircase, designed at the client’s request for their grandkids to enjoy.
